Pentax HD Pentax-D FA 150-450mm F4.5-5.6 ED DC AW is a super telephoto zoom lens for Pentax K-mount. It covers the full-frame image circle. Introduced by Pentax in 2015, it has 18 elements in 14 groups.
Like most zoom lenses, the HD Pentax-D FA 150-450mm F4.5-5.6 ED DC AW is externally-zooming. Fortunately, Pentax has provided a zoom lock that at least stops zoom creep. For incremental weathers, Pentax is kind enough to include weather sealing.
As a super telephoto zoom lens, the HD Pentax-D FA 150-450mm F4.5-5.6 ED DC AW can be quite useful for wild-life and landscape photography. Built-in image stabilization is almost a must-have at this focal range, but this lens curiously omits it. Owners will also like the available tripod collar.
