Laowa Argus 35mm F0.95 FF is a large-aperture manual-focus wide-angle prime lens for Canon RF-mount, Nikon Z-mount, and Sony E-mount. It covers the full-frame image circle. Introduced by Laowa in 2021, it has 14 elements in 9 groups and is part of Laowa's new Argus premium line.
Manual focus may be limiting to some, but purists will find it much more engaging. There are also fewer things to go wrong on the long run.
The bright maximum aperture for a wide-angle lens is appreciated for night photography, though some may prefer the perspective of an ultra wide-angle lens for this. Even though the lens is not stabilized, at this focal range it does not usually matter. In fact, some may be able to get cleaner corners without image stabilization.
