Product Overview

Nikon AF-S Nikkor Fisheye 8-15mm F3.5-4.5E ED is an ultra wide-angle fisheye zoom lens for Nikon F-mount. It covers the full-frame image circle. Introduced by Nikon in 2017, it has 15 elements in 13 groups. Notably, it reaches 180° field of view.
Like most zoom lenses, the Nikon AF-S Nikkor Fisheye 8-15mm F3.5-4.5E ED is externally-zooming. Unfortunately, Nikon has opted to omit weather sealing for this lens, so owners should pay extra attention when shooting in incremental weathers.
As an ultra wide-angle lens, this zoom can offer a unique perspective that many will appreciate. Even though the lens is not stabilized, at this focal range it does not usually matter. In fact, some may be able to get cleaner corners without image stabilization.
Some photographers may be disappointed by the fact that the lens does not accept front screw-on filters.
