Product Overview

Zeiss Milvus 100mm F2 Makro-Planar is a manual-focus short telephoto macro lens for Canon EF-mount and Nikon F-mount. It covers the full-frame image circle. Introduced by Zeiss in 2015, it has 9 elements in 8 groups.
Manual focus may be limiting to some, but purists will find it much more engaging. There are also fewer things to go wrong on the long run. For incremental weathers, Zeiss is kind enough to include weather sealing.
Marketed as a "macro" lens, the Milvus 100mm F2 has a 1:2 maximum reproduction, which does not strictly make a full-fledged macro lens, but can be quite useful. A telephoto prime lens, the Zeiss Milvus 100mm F2 is well suited for portrait photography.
