The Hisense 65H9G is a Quantum Dot TV with 4K (3,840 by 2,160 pixels) resolution. As with the H8G and H9F models, it uses Hisense's ULED technology. The H9G has a Screenless Mode that lets you use the TV to control other Google Assistant smart home devices such as lights and thermostats.
    Pros
    • Excellent picture quality
    • Excellent local dimming
    • Supports Google Assistant voice commands
    Cons
    • Doesn’t support Chromecast or Amazon Alexa

    Reviewers from rtings have found:
The Hisense H9G is an impressive overall TV that offers great performance for most uses. It's an amazing choice for watching movies in the dark as it has an outstanding contrast ratio and a great full-array local dimming feature. Also, gamers should appreciate its very quick response time and really low input lag. Unfortunately, it's not suggested for wide seating arrangements due to its narrow viewing angles.
    Pros
    • Outstanding contrast ratio and full-array local dimming feature
    • Excellent reflection handling
    • Wide color gamut for HDR content
    • Low input lag and accurate chroma 4:4:4
    • Superb black uniformity
    Cons
    • Narrow viewing angles
    • Doesn't have many gaming features like VRR support

The H9G is a fairly standard design with the electronics housed in a bustle at the lower back of the rear of the unit. There are four HDMI ports, two USB ports, coax for an over-the-air antenna or cable/satellite set-top box, plus RCA inputs. The Wi-Fi is 802.11ac and there's a Bluetooth radio onboard.
    Pros
    • Excellent picture quality
    • Excellent audio performance
    • Good motion handling
    Cons
    • No HDMI or eARC support

The Hisense H9G has a 4K resolution, with support for Dolby Vision and HDR10+. The TV also offers full-array local dimming to make for deeper blacks and an increased contrast ratio. When it comes to 1080p, SDR content, the picture quality is excellent. There are a total of seven picture modes in SDR, however we found that none of them looked perfect.
    Pros
    • Excellent picture quality
    • Built-in Google Assistant smart speaker
    Cons
    • No Dolby Vision or HDR10+
    • Mediocre viewing angles
