Reviewer score 88% (normalized by Neofiliac)
    Reviewers from pcmag have found:
The Hisense H9F series is genuinely impressive for a series of budget TVs. While it's on the high end of the company's lineup, it's less than $1,000 for 65 inches. It's brighter than the H8F, while offering a wider color reach and less light bloom. Game mode on the H9 displays a pleasantly low input lag.
    Pros
    • Excellent black levels
    • Excellent color accuracy
    • Android TV platform offers plenty of functionality
    Cons
    • No HDR10 or Dolby Vision

    rtings[2]

Reviewer score 68% (normalized by Neofiliac)
    Reviewers from rtings have found:
The Hisense H9F is a great TV for almost any use. It has great motion handling and low input lag, great for gaming or for use as a PC monitor. This TV has excellent peak brightness and great reflection handling. Unfortunately, there are some noticeable uniformity issues, and the image degrades at an angle, which isn't great for watching sports.
    Pros
    • Excellent SDR peak brightness
    • Excellent reflection handling
    • Outstanding contrast ratio
    • Great local dimming feature
    Cons
    • Some noticeable uniformity issues
    • Image degrades at an angle

Reviewer score 74% (normalized by Neofiliac)
    Reviewers from techradar have found:
The Hisense H9F is an absolute home run from the company. Colors are bright and natural, and deep and upscaling is as good as it gets for a TV in this price range. The speakers built into the TV will do the job just fine, but don't expect a ton of depth or detail here.
    Pros
    • Superb image quality
    • HDR10 and Dolby Vision support
    • Good motion smoothing
    Cons
    • Mediocre audio
    • Poor bass response

    tomsguide[4]

Reviewer score 76% (normalized by Neofiliac)
    Reviewers from tomsguide have found:
Hisense uses the Android TV operating system for the H9F. It has the broadest support for a wide array of apps, from Acorn to Vudu. Google Assistant voice control can be helpful in searching for videos. The remote's menu button isn't labeled but was fairly obvious from its icon.
    Pros
    • Excellent picture quality
    • Android TV support
    • Easy to use
    Cons
    • Lacks dynamic range
    • No Dolby Vision
