    External Reviews

    techradar[1]

Reviewer score 76% (normalized by Neofiliac)
    Reviewers from techradar have found:
Philips 279C9 has a 27-inch IPS panel with a native resolution of 3,840 by 2,160 pixels running at 60Hz. It's also certified with the VESA DisplayHDR 400 standard. This doesn't imply true HDR capability, but it does ensure correct color balance. The IPS tech predictably translates into pretty impeccable viewing angles and contrast performance is about as good as it gets from this panel type.
    Pros
    • Punchy, vibrant IPS panel
    • USB-C connectivity with 65W of device charging power
    Cons
    • No true HDR
    • Mediocre pixel pitch
