Reviewer score 95% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from pcmag have found:
The ViewSonic Elite XG270QG is an all-around superb pick for those who enjoy having a vibrant, beautiful monitor as both their main gaming display and the host of most of their movies and TV shows. The 1ms response time, made possible thanks to the Nano IPS panel, felt crisp and clean. Though video didn't quite reach HDR quality, it came about as close as you're going to get without shelling out the extra cash for that feature.
Pros
  • Gorgeous 144Hz refresh rate
  • Excellent sRGB gamut coverage
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • No HDR support

rtings[2]

Reviewer score 68% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from rtings have found:
The ViewSonic Elite XG270QG is a good monitor for most uses. It performs best as a gaming monitor thanks to its G-SYNC VRR support, incredibly low input lag, and excellent response time. It's not the best choice for dark room gaming since it has a low contrast ratio and poor black uniformity. The high resolution allows you to watch your favorite videos online in high detail.
Pros
  • Excellent response time
  • Wide viewing angles
  • G-SYNC VRR support
  • Great reflection handling
Cons
  • Bad out-of-box color accuracy
  • Low contrast ratio

t3[3]

Reviewer score 85% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from t3 have found:
ViewSonic XG270QG is one of the best 1440p monitors out there at the moment. 27-inch, WQHD Nano IPS panel runs at a native resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels. With fantastic viewing angles (178 degrees horizontally and vertically), superb vibrancy and crispness, and an excellent response time. No HDR support here, but again it's not a dealbreaker in our eyes.
Pros
  • Top-quality picture
  • Excellent response time
  • Excellent gaming chops
Cons
  • No 4K resolution
  • No HDR
