Product Overview

AOC 27G2U is an affordable 27-inch FHD gaming monitor in AOC's 2019 lineup. It is powered by a basic 8-bit IPS panel that reaches 144 Hz refresh rate.

The included stand comes with tilt, swivel, pivot, and height adjustments that make for a more ergonomic viewing experience. With a fast 1 ms response time, this display is a good gaming option. Additionally, this monitor can get quite contrasty. It also comes with build-in speakers that make media consumption in a pinch an effortless experience.

In terms of drawbacks, this monitor lacks HDR support and is not very bright. Further, the 8-bit panel is rather limiting in terms of color reproduction.
