Reviewer score 56% (normalized by Neofiliac)
    Reviewers from rtings have found:
The Acer XV282K KV is an impressive all-around monitor. It's excellent for gaming because it has quick response times, a high refresh rate, and FreeSync support. It has fantastic ergonomics that make it easy to place in an ideal viewing position. Sadly, it's not the best for watching HDR content because of its low contrast ratio and terrible edge-lit local dimming feature.
    Pros
    • Fantastic ergonomics
    • High 144Hz refresh rate
    • Wide viewing angles
    • Low input lag
    Cons
    • Low contrast ratio
    • Local dimming feature is terrible

    Reviewers from theverge have found:
Acer's Nitro XV282K KV is a 28-inch 4K gaming monitor that costs $900. It has two HDMI 2.1 ports and a DisplayPort, so you can plug both next-gen consoles and your PC into the monitor if you want. The Nitro has a one millisecond response time, and while I didn't test that specifically, I haven't felt input lag.
    Pros
    • Bright, vibrant screen
    • HDR-equipped HDMI 2.1 ports
    • Comfortable to use
    Cons
    • Not as good as next-gen monitors
