Product Overview

Acer Predator X25 is a premium 25-inch FHD gaming monitor in Acer's 2021 lineup. It is powered by a basic 8-bit IPS panel that reaches an industry-leading 360 Hz maximum refresh rate.
Notably, this monitor supports HDR up to DisplayHDR 400. The included stand comes with tilt, swivel, pivot, and height adjustments that make for a more ergonomic viewing experience. With a fast 0.3 ms response time, this display is a good gaming option. Additionally, this monitor can get quite contrasty. It also comes with build-in speakers that make media consumption in a pinch an effortless experience.
Further, the 8-bit panel is rather limiting in terms of color reproduction.

Reviewers from pcmag have found:
The Acer Predator X25 is an impressive gaming monitor on today's leading edge of display. Its 360Hz refresh rate ensures extremely smooth gameplay, and it's quite bright and high-contrast for a gaming monitor. Its color performance is strong, too, even if it doesn't have the widest color gamut available in a panel of its class.
Pros
  • Bright, high-contrast 240Hz refresh rate
  • Strong gaming performance
  • Nvidia Reflex latency tester
Cons
  • Limited color range

rtings[2]

The Acer Predator X25 is great for mixed usage. It's bright enough for most environments and has good reflection handling to overcome glare. It excels in gaming features, with an exceptionally high refresh rate, fast response times, and low input lag. However, the 25 inch screen and 1080p resolution may not be large or sharp enough for some.
Pros
  • Excellent SDR color gamut
  • Wide viewing angles
  • Good ergonomics
  • High refresh rate and fast response time for exceptionally clear motion
  • Low input lag and G-SYNC VRR support
  • Very bright
Cons
  • Low pixel density
  • Doesn't get quite bright enough to make highlights pop
  • No FreeSync support

tomshardware[3]

Reviewer score 88% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from tomshardware have found:
The X25 starts out in its Standard mode, but if you change any image parameter, it switches to User. To see brightness values over 225 nits, you must turn Max Brightness on. The Predator X25 is singularly focused on high-performance gaming but is also perfectly capable as a workday or entertainment display.
Pros
  • High-quality IPS panel
  • Accurate color accuracy
  • Good gaming performance
Cons
  • No G-Sync
  • No variable backlight
