    techradar[1]

Reviewer score 60% (normalized by Neofiliac)
    Reviewers from techradar have found:
The Asus TUF Gaming VG289Q retails at $329 (about £250, AU$460) While it is able to keep up with Rocket League with barely any issues, we did experience some stuttering when playing more graphics hungry games like Red Dead Redemption 2 and Doom: Eternal. The monitor also has a stripped-down port selection (only two HDMIs, one DisplayPort, and 3.5mm audio jack)
    Pros
    • Gorgeous 4K resolution
    • Sharp, accurate colors
    • Solid build quality
    Cons
    • Slow response time
    • No HDR10

    tomshardware[2]

Reviewer score 72% (normalized by Neofiliac)
    Reviewers from tomshardware have found:
The Asus TUF Gaming VG289Q works well for SDR gaming, by providing just enough extra color to enhance the image without going too far. The only caveat here is that you'll have to use the full DCI-P3 color gamut with both SDR and HDR content. We found 60% to be the best choice for maximum blur reduction and minimum ghosting.
    Pros
    • Excellent image quality for SDR and HDR gaming
    • Good contrast
    Cons
    • No sRGB picture mode
    • No HDR mode
