Asus VG246H is an entry-level 24-inch FHD gaming monitor in Asus's 2020 lineup. It is powered by a basic 8-bit IPS panel.

The included stand comes with tilt, swivel, pivot, and height adjustments that make for a more ergonomic viewing experience. Additionally, this monitor can get quite contrasty.

In terms of drawbacks, this monitor lacks HDR support and is not very bright. Further, the 8-bit panel is rather limiting in terms of color reproduction.

ASUS VG246H is a good gaming monitor for casual gamers. The 24 inch, 1080p screen isn't very immersive, and it doesn't support HDR. The relatively small screen doesn't deliver a very immersive gaming experience. It's a decent choice for multimedia and media creation, but low contrast and bad black uniformity make it a poor choice for a dark room.
