Asus ROG Strix XG27AQ is a high-end 27-inch QHD gaming monitor in Asus's 2020 lineup. It is powered by a basic 8-bit IPS panel with 170 Hz maximum refresh rate.
Notably, this monitor supports HDR up to DisplayHDR 400, HDR10. In terms of color reproduction, one can expect above average performance. Reviewer score 52% (normalized by Neofiliac)ASUS ROG Strix XG27AQ is a great all-around monitor. Its high refresh rate, fast response time, and VRR support make it an excellent choice for gaming. Its size and resolution are also well-suited to productivity and content creation. It doesn't perform as well in dark rooms, though, because of its low contrast ratio.

The Dynamic Dimming feature is very effective at increasing the contrast of graphical content like games and videos. The native color gamut is DCI-P3 which is covered over 91% and hits its targets closely.
