Reviewer score 46% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from rtings have found:
The MSI Optix MAG273R is a great gaming monitor. It has exceptionally low input lag, a fast refresh rate, and a great response time at the max refresh rate. It also has an outstanding SDR color gamut, with great coverage of the Adobe RGB color space. However, the 1080p resolution isn't great for multitasking, and it has a low contrast ratio.
Pros
  • Outstanding SDR color gamut
  • Wide viewing angles
  • Good reflection handling
Cons
  • Low contrast ratio
  • No local dimming feature

tomshardware[2]

Reviewer score 79% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from tomshardware have found:
MSI Optix MAG273R has a top-the-line overdrive implementation. Motion resolution was always high regardless of how the frame rates in all cases were paired. There are no color gamut options, so DCI-P3 is the gamut used for all content, SDR and HDR.
Pros
  • High-contrast IPS panel
  • Excellent contrast
  • Wide color gamut
Cons
  • No G-Sync
  • No HDR10 support
