    External Reviews

    digitaltrends[1]

Reviewer score 66% (normalized by Neofiliac)
    Reviewers from digitaltrends have found:
With HDR on, the M32U looks like it's trying to cram too much dynamic range into too small of a space. There aren't too many dimming zones, and they're slow to respond to changes. The 144Hz panel isn't as fast as something like the 360Hz Asus ROG Swift PG259QNR.
    Pros
    • Ultra-smooth 144Hz refresh rate
    • Good value for money
    Cons
    • Expensive for a 27-inch 4K monitor

    rtings[2]

Reviewer score 68% (normalized by Neofiliac)
    Reviewers from rtings have found:
The Gigabyte M32U is an excellent gaming monitor, especially for Xbox Series S|X or Sony PS5 gamers. It has an incredible response time, outstanding low input lag, and a great selection of additional gaming features, including FreeSync support. The large, high-resolution screen makes it easier to see more of your workflow at once, and it delivers superb text clarity. It's also great for watching videos, but not in a dark room, as it has low contrast and a terrible local dimming feature.
    Pros
    • Outstanding low input lag
    • Superb text clarity
    • Wide viewing angles
    • Excellent gray uniformity
    Cons
    • Low contrast ratio
    • No FreeSync support

    tomsguide[3]

Reviewer score 67% (normalized by Neofiliac)
    Reviewers from tomsguide have found:
The Gigabyte M32U gaming monitor is almost a slam-dunk choice, considering everything you get as part of the package. The integrated speakers get decently loud, but their audio quality is not especially good. Gigabyte goes for broke with things like its built-in KVM switch and GameAssist, and those come close to paying off.
    Pros
    • Sleek, well-executed design
    • Solid gaming performance
    • Comfortable to use
    Cons
    • Mediocre sound quality
    • Lackluster picture modes
