External Reviews

techradar[1]

Reviewer score 51% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from techradar have found:
The HP Omen 25i comes in at $349 (about £250, AU$450) Though the price makes sense when compared just to the predecessor, it brings it into a market that's loaded with gaming monitors. It's simply not keeping up with the competition when there are similarly priced and even cheap monitors that are matching it on almost all specs.
Pros
  • Bright 165Hz panel
  • Fast response time
Cons
  • No deep black levels
  • Expensive for an IPS panel

tomshardware[2]

Reviewer score 87% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from tomshardware have found:
The Omen 25i is a very accurate monitor, with eight total picture modes. Standard is a near-perfect representation of sRGB, while Native and Game Remaster use the DCI-P3 gamut. You can independently calibrate each mode with very precise RGB sliders. It's one of the most useful aiming point features we've encountered.
Pros
  • Very accurate color and contrast
  • Excellent build quality
  • Very accurate calibration
Cons
  • No G-Sync support
  • No HDR10 support
