Product Overview

HP Z27u G3 QHD is a 27-inch QHD monitor in HP's 2021 lineup. It is powered by a basic 8-bit IPS panel.
The included stand comes with tilt, swivel, pivot, and height adjustments that make for a more ergonomic viewing experience. Additionally, this monitor can get quite contrasty.
In terms of drawbacks, this monitor lacks HDR support. Further, the 8-bit panel is rather limiting in terms of color reproduction.

External Reviews

techradar[1]

Reviewer score 78% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from techradar have found:
The HP Z27u G3 looks and feels like a very high quality piece of equipment. The aluminum chassis is a nice touch and unusual among the most expensive monitors. The 27-inch 2,560 by 1,440 panel uses IPS technology, but it's a conventional SDR model with a single backlight, no local dimming and no HDR support.
Pros
  • Excellent ergonomics
  • USB Type-C connectivity
  • Excellent image quality
Cons
  • No HDR support
  • No USB Type-A hub
