Product Overview

LG 27QN880 Ergo is a mid-range 27-inch QHD monitor that comes with LG's Ergo-branded ergonomic stand. Its business-oriented twin is the 27BN88Q, which is simply a rebranded carbon copy of the 27QN880.
This QHD monitor uses an 8-bit IPS panel that nonetheless covers 99% of sRGB color space. Thanks to the ergonomic stand, which arguably is more useful for business applications, the 27QN880 offers not only tilt and height adjustments but can also extend, swivel, and pivot.
To round things up, LG has thrown in a USB-C hub for good measure. With DP Alt Mode, the monitor is able to deliver 60W of power while being driven by the mobile device.
The 27QN880 is quite similar to a number of other 27-inch "Ergo" monitors that LG heavily marketed in 2020. They each has their own strengths and should be compared in detail before any purchase decision is finalized.
