Product Overview

LG 27GN880 UltraGear Ergo is a variation of the 27GN850, which is a 27-inch QHD gaming monitor with LG's unique Nano IPS panel: It differs in the ergonomic stand (marketed as "Ergo" stand) with which it comes; the main display units are identical otherwise.
Like the 27GN850, the 27GN880 boasts some of the best color reproduction found in any gaming monitor: It is able to cover 98% of DCI-P3 color space. There is G-Sync and FreeSync support, while response time is low and viewing angle is wide. Essentially everything one would want in a QHD gaming monitor.
The only model that one-ups the 27GN880 is the 27GN950, which has the same features but adds on top of them 4K resolution.

Reviewer score 51% (normalized by Neofiliac)
    Reviewers from rtings have found:
The LG 27GN880-B has a large, high-resolution screen with wide viewing angles and a stand that allows tons of ergonomic adjustments. It has a 144Hz refresh rate, fast response times, and low input lag to deliver a great gaming experience. Unfortunately, the contrast ratio is sub-par, and while it gets bright enough for most lighting conditions, it might struggle to overcome intense glare in a well-lit, sunny environment.
