LG 24GN600 UltraGear 24" FHD Gaming Monitor (2020)
LG 24GN600 UltraGear is the most affordable 24-inch FHD gaming monitor with IPS panel in LG's 2020 ("N") model year. As the next step down (24GN50W) uses a TN panel, the 24GN600 is the lowest that we would recommend that consumers go.
While yesteryear's IPS monitors were slow, today's IPS technology, as evident in the 24GN600, makes for some of the fastest displays. Specifically, the 24GN600 refreshes at 144Hz with 1ms Grey-to-Grey response time. At the same time, it retains traditional strengths of IPS, namely high color accuracy and wide viewing angles.
Those who wish for a monitor stand with more adjustments should opt for the 24GN650, which is otherwise identical. Gamers in need of a larger display area can look into 27GN600 and 32GN600.
The predecessor of the 24GN600 is ostensibly the 24GL600F, though the latter uses a TN panel and is therefore unadvisable at this point.
