Product Overview

LG 32UN500 is the most affordable 4K VA monitor at 32-inch diagonal in LG's 2020 ("N") lineup. An entry-level option, it nonetheless features a 10-bit panel with good color reproduction and high contrast. For those who do not need extra bells and whistles, the 32UN500 is one of the more attractive options on the market.
Having said that, the 32UL500 from 2019, which the 32UN500 ostensibly replaces, is about the same: the newer model comes with a slightly higher (350nits vis-à-vis 350 nits) maximum brightness and slightly lower color gamut (90% rather than 95% DCI-P3 coverage). Those who want IPS will have to step up to the 32UN650.
The 32UN500 has a basic stand with only tilt adjustment. Those who prefer a better stand can also check out the 32UN550, among other more premium 4K options.

tomshardware[1]

Reviewer score 74% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from tomshardware have found:
The LG 32UN500-W provides excellent accuracy with just a 2.1dE out of the box when it comes to its native DCI-P3 color space. Its 1.9 average gamma is below the 2.2 we'd like to see, and you'll see visible grayscale errors. If you want a premium HDR experience, you'll have to pay more than what LG is asking.
Pros
  • Excellent color gamut accuracy
  • Large, 4K IPS panel
  • 5ms GTG response time
Cons
  • Lacks DCI-P3 color
  • No edge-array backlight
