LG 27UL550 is the sister model of the 27UL500, a 27-inch 4K IPS monitor designed for price-sensitive consumers. Compared to the latter, it uses the exact display unit but adds an ergonomic stand with height, tilt, and pivot adjustments.
The 27UL550 boasts a gorgeous 10-bit IPS panel with 98% sRGB coverage. It supports HDR10 as well as FreeSync, though its maximum refresh rate is capped at 60Hz. This set of features make the 27UL550 an interesting choice for general computing, perhaps with a lot of photo and video editing as well as general home entertainment.
LG has indeed endowed the 27UL550 with some "gaming" features, though this is certainly not a gaming monitor by any stretch of the imagination.
The 27UL550 represents the affordable line among LG's 2019 ("L" series) monitors. It has since been joined by newcomers, though it is still available at a discounted (and hence attractive) price.
