Product Overview

LG 27UL500 is an entry-level 27-inch 4K IPS monitor, one of the most affordable of its kind. While it does not come with many exclusive features, the fact that it has a 10-bit IPS panel with 98% sRGB coverage makes the 27UL500 an interesting choice for general computing.
On top of that, LG has endowed the 27UL500 with a factory-calibrated panel that supports FreeSync and HDR10. There are both HDMI and DisplayPort inputs, too. While the monitor lacks other notable features, its price point means that it is worth considering compared to FHD and QHD monitors that are barely cheaper.
At the moment, however, the 27UL550, which uses the same display but comes with a better stand, can be had for less. That is an obvious choice for consumers in this price range. Those who wish for a bit more, meanwhile, can find more recent models that LG has put out.
