LG 22BL450Y is the smallest of the entry-level (450) FHD monitors designed for business use ("B" series) by LG in 2019. The same set of considerations that apply to its larger siblings are valid here, too, though the 22-inch model, being rather limited in screen real estate, should only be examined seriously if desktop space is a contrast.

Such, however, is where many small businesses find themselves in. Thus, while the 22BL450Y is only marginally cheaper than the 24- and 27-inch models, it may be what is needed.

As is the case with the two larger models, the 22BL450Y comes with stereo speakers that relieves the user from the task of finding a pair of speakers or headphones. It also comes with both HDMI and DisplayPort connectivity, making it easy to pair the monitor with a broad range of sources. To round this up, LG has also endowed the monitor with a build-in USB hub, though to follow this model's theme it is USB 2.0 only.

The 22BL450Y is succeeded by the 22BK430H, which is an even cheaper model.
