LG 24BL450Y is an entry-level 24-inch FHD IPS monitor designed for business use ("B" series). It ticks a lot of boxes for this segment, though it excels only at being average.
At first glance, we are already reminded of business monitors from yesteryear: thick bezels, chunky panel, and a functional stand. Nothing shouts at the user (or the client), which is perhaps a selling point. As a monitor, the 24BL450Y comes with stereo speakers that relieves the user from the task of finding a pair of speakers or headphones. It also comes with both HDMI and DisplayPort connectivity, making it easy to pair the monitor with a broad range of sources. To round this up, LG has also endowed the monitor with a build-in USB hub, though to follow this model's theme it is USB 2.0 only.
Overall, the 24BL450Y is not something that the average consumer would buy for their homes, unless there is a great deal. For small businesses, however, it may be a sensible solution, one that does not break the bank.
