Product Overview

LG 32BK50Q is a mid-range 32-inch QHD monitor designed for general computing. It features a decent IPS panel and supports FreeSync, though it is better considered for multi-media applications.
The 32BK50Q, compared to its FHD stablemates in the same generation, is perhaps a better option for texts. It offers higher pixel density, and the QHD resolution at 32 inch is just fine without scaling. LG has endowed this monitor with a Reader Mode to take advantage of this fact.
At the same time, while the 32BK50Q comes with a range of gamer-oriented features, it is not a good choice for gaming. The 8ms response time and 75Hz refresh rate are rather limiting in this regard.
As a "K" series model, the 32BK50Q is rather dated at this point. However, its "replacement" from 2020 is a 4K model that is priced a bit higher. For whom QHD suffices, the 32BK50Q remains a valid choice.
