Product Overview

Bang & Olufsen Beoplay EQ are the flagship true wireless headphones in B&O's current lineup. They uniquely feature adaptive active noise cancellation and carry more refined details compared to other Beoplay true wireless options.
The Beoplay EQ are driven by 6.8mm dynamic drivers, one in each earbud. These larger drivers (compared to the E8) consumer more power, as does ANC. B&O has endowed each earbud with a larger, 85mAh battery to address this, achieving 7.5 hours of playback without ANC.
The charging case of the Beoplay EQ has a slim profile. The price for this is smaller battery capacity. Still, B&O has managed to keep wireless charging capability (Qi), and the charging case can quick-charge the earphones.
Other plus points of the Beoplay EQ include Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity and six built-in microphones (for ANC + talk).

Reviewers from t3 have found:
Bowers & Wilkins PI7 sound just as good (and I slightly prefer their audio profile overall), though the noise cancellation and battery are weaker. The active noise cancellation is pretty good in most casts – this is one area where it beats the competition at the same price. They have some foibles in their fit and controls, but nothing that's a dealbreaker, and the audio quality is like a velvet blanket to wrap yourself up in.
Pros
  • Excellent active noise cancellation
  • Great battery life
  • Great app options
Cons
  • Noise cancellation isn’t as good as some

Reviewers from techhive have found:
The Beoplay EQ did a wonderful job rendering a lush, intimate presentation. With transparency mode active, human voices were oh-so slightly recessed. If you buy this headphone, learn how to twist and lock the buds into your ears. It might not be the absolute best in every category, but it renders it worthy of consideration.
Pros
  • Gorgeous, rich, and detailed sound
  • Comfortable fit
  • Excellent battery life
Cons
  • Bass performance falls short of Apple’s AirPods Pro

techradar[3]

Reviewer score 78% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from techradar have found:
Bang & Olufsen Beoplay EQ use a pair of electrodynamic 6.8mm full-range drivers. Wireless connectivity is via Bluetooth 5.2. There are a total of six mics across the pair of earbuds, which deal with call quality and active noise-cancellation. Control is available via the exemplary B&O Sound control app, as well as by touch using the big, responsive capacitive surface on each earbud.
Pros
  • Gorgeous design
  • Well-defined mid-range
  • Comfortable fit
Cons
  • No voice-control
