Lenovo ThinkPad X13 GEN 2 is a premium 13.3-inch business laptop powered by AMD Ryzen 5000 U-series Cezanne APUs with integrated graphics. It can be considered the 13.3-inch version of the X1 Carbon GEN 9.
As such, the X13 GEN 2 comes with a rich set of features for its compact and lightweight chassis. These include a new 16:10 form factor with WUXGA or WQXGA IPS display options, including a touch panel. The processor can be configured to have 8 cores, while up to 32GB of soldered-on LPDDR4x memory is configurable.
For mobile computing, the X13 GEN 2 supports a range of WWAN options up to 5G. WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 come as standard, too.
In this generation, the X13 GEN 2 has several material options, with the most premium one being carbon-fiber with magnesium alloy (as is the case with the X1 Carbon), though more affordable plastic and aluminum top covers are available.
Naturally, there is an Intel-powered X13 GEN 2 i with the usual Intel-AMD tradeoffs.
