Product Overview

ASUS ProArt StudioBook 16 H5600 is a premium 16-inch laptop powered by AMD Ryzen 5000 H-series Cezanne APUs paired with NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 3000-series GPUs up to RTX 3070 with 8GB of graphics memory. It differs from the Pro version (W5600) in two ways: the H5600 uses GeForce RTX rather the the RTX Ax000 series graphics, and the ProArt StudioBook moniker is printed in black rather than gold.
In other aspects, the ProArt StudioBook 16 H5600 is identical to its workstation sibling. The biggest highlight is the gorgeous 16-inch, 16:10 display in either OLED or IPS guise. All available display panels cover 100% of DCI-P3 color space and offer a degree of pixel density that render pixels indistinguishable to the naked eye.
In the processor-front, the H5600 has access to some of the fastest mobile CPUs on the market today, including the Ryzen 9 5900HX with 8 cores. Couple that with up to 64GB of memory, 4TB of SSD, and a rich selection of I/O options, the ProArt StudioBook 16 H5600 is a great device for power users.
Last but not least, this ProArt StudioBook comes with the new ASUS Dial that makes creative workflows easier to manage.
For those who desire a little more, ASUS is happy to sell them the H7600 powered by Intel.
The H5600 and H7600 replace the old ProArt StudioBook 15 and 17 from 2019.

Reviewer score 83% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from laptopmag have found:
The Studiobook 16 lasted a respectable 6 hours and 17 minutes in the Laptop Mag battery life test. It runs Windows 10 but is compatible with Windows 11 if you prefer the newer OS version. The built-in dial is more useful than I expected and legitimately fun to use.
Pros
  • Gorgeous 16-inch, 4K OLED display
  • Powerful AMD CPU and Nvidia GPU
  • Excellent battery life
Cons
  • Display could be brighter
  • No Thunderbolt 3

Reviewers from ndtv have found:
Front-firing speakers are pretty loud, but bass is quite lacking and treble can get shrill. In everyday use you'll probably never hear the fans spin up, but there is a dull hum when this laptop is stressed. Some parts of the body do heat up quite a bit – I noticed that the upper right of the QWERTY block on the keyboard became borderline uncomfortable to type on.
Pros
  • Sleek design
  • Good battery life
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Display could be brighter
  • No USB Type-C ports

pcmag[3]

Reviewer score 79% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from pcmag have found:
The Asus Studiobook 16 is a powerful and well-made laptop for creative professionals. The keyboard dial is genuinely useful (and, okay, also kind of fun), and the display both looks brilliant and offers wide color coverage. With gaming and media creation, any real workload is better done on AC power, but you should be able to use this system on the road.
Pros
  • Gorgeous OLED display
  • Excellent battery life
  • Sleek design
  • Excellent keyboard dial
Cons
  • Lackluster performance
