MSI Alpha 17 B5EX is a premium 17.3-inch gaming laptop powered by AMD's Ryzen 5000 Cezanne H-series processors paired with AMD Radeon RX 6600M GPU with 8GB of graphics memory. Just like its 15.6-inch sibling, the Alpha 17 AMD Advantage Edition is one of the first gaming laptop to feature the latest AMD CPU + AMD GPU.
Compared to the previous-gen model, the new B5EX Alpha 17 is thinner and lighter, though it retains its unashamedly "gaming" chassis. Detailed features are almost identical to that new Alpha 15, down to similar display specs (despite the two having obviously different panel sizes).
For those who want a "transportable" machine to game on but do not wish to spend an arm and a leg, the Alpha 17 B5EX may be a good option for the 2021 holiday season.
