Product Overview

HP Pavilion 15z-eh100 is an affordable 15.6-inch laptop powered by AMD's new Ryzen 5000-series mobile processors. It is a marginal upgrade of the Pavilion 15z-eh000, with the CPU being the only difference.
Like other Pavilion laptops, this Pavilion 15 laptop caters to price-sensitive consumers while retaining some premium features. For example, WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 are made available, and up to 1TB PCIe NVMe SSD can be configured as well.
Several other HP Pavilion laptops of this generation include the Aero 13-be000, 14t-dv000, and 15t-eg000.
It must be noted that HP also sells many pre-configured models with slightly different model numbers, which is unnecessarily confusing but perhaps intentionally so.

Reviewer score 47% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from notebookcheck have found:
The Precision clickpad is relatively large at 11.5 x 7.4 cm to be essentially the same as the clickpad on the pricier Envy 15 Creator. NumPad keys are narrower and therefore more cramped for larger fingers. Color coverage is limited to just 64 percent of sRGB to represent an entry-level display.
Pros
  • Sleek, attractive design
  • High-quality IPS display
  • Good battery life
Cons
  • Lackluster graphics performance
  • No Thunderbolt 4 or Thunderbolt 3
