Product Overview

HP OMEN 15z-en100 is a sleek 15.6-inch gaming laptop in HP's 2021 lineup. It is powered by AMD's latest Ryzen 5000-series mobile processors up to Ryzen 7 5800H plus NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 3000-series graphics up to RTX 3070.
Compared to the OMEN 15z-en000, the new model also has a new 165Hz QHD display option.
Three other OMEN gaming laptops for 2021 are the 16t-b000, 17t-ck000, and 15t-ek100; the latter is essentially the same OMEN 15 laptop powered by Intel.
It must be noted that HP also sells many pre-configured models with slightly different model numbers, which is unnecessarily confusing but perhaps intentionally so.

Reviewer score 71% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from techradar have found:
The HP Omen 15 (2021) can play just about any AAA game you can throw at it. You can expect at least 30 fps in fully maxed-out settings across really demanding titles like Metro: Exodus. It takes about 2 hours to fully charge the laptop, but if you're concerned, keep close to a power outlet so that you don't go AFK. The webcam is about as good as you'd expect for one built into a gaming laptop.
Pros
  • High refresh rate 165Hz
  • Good battery life
  • Good webcam
Cons
  • Loud fans
  • Mediocre webcam
