Canon RF 14-35mm F4 L IS USM
Full-Frame LensProduct Gallery
Product Overview
Canon RF14-35mm F4 L IS USM is a premium wide-angle zoom lens for the EOS R full-frame mirrorless system. Compared to more traditional alternatives in this class, the RF14-35mm F4 L offers a wider reach down to 14mm, which dramatically broadens the field of view.
At the same time, the RF14-35mm F4 L IS USM is rather compact. It weighs just over half a kilo (1.2lbs), making it not only easy to carry around all day but also a good candidate for videography.
There is also the possibility to take 77mm screw-in filters, which is noteworthy for a full-frame lens that covers 14mm.
Another feature that some photographers will appreciate is the lens' ability to focus as close as 20cm. This affords the photographer a new perspective that can result in dramatic shots.
Last but not least, the RF14-35mm F4 L IS USM is optically stabilized with up to 5.5 stops of correction. Up to 7 stops can be achieved when combined with EOS R cameras that feature IBIS.
For those who wish for an extra stop of light, Canon markets the RF15-35mm F2.8 L IS USM.
