Product Overview
Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 5i Chromebook GEN 6 is a 13.3-inch 2-in-1 convertible designed for price-sensitive consumers. It shares much of the same feature set with the 14-inch IdeaPad 5i Chromebook clamshell laptop in this generation.
The 2021 IdeaPad Flex 5i Chromebook is powered by the latest Intel processors up to Core i5 Tiger Lake mobile CPU and features a FHD IPS touch screen. Unfortunately, a digitizer is not included as standard to take advantage of the device's form factor.
Available in two different colors, the IdeaPad Flex 5i Chromebook GEN 6 has an understated design that can be found in other recent IdeaPad laptops. It comes with several valued features such as WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1 wireless connectivity, LPDDR4x memory, and USB 3.1 Gen1 ports in both Type-A and Type-C guises.

Reviewer score 68% (normalized by Neofiliac)The 13.3-inch IdeaPad Flex 5 Chromebook is a two-in-one, but it's more a laptop than a tablet. With the Flex 5, you're getting a larger display, a full-size backlit keyboard and better everyday performance with its 10th-gen Core i3 processor. It was originally priced at $410 but is currently bouncing between $480 and $490.
Pros
- Great performance
- Backlit keyboard and touchpad
- Good battery life
Cons
- Display is dim
- No SD card reader

Reviewer score 70% (normalized by Neofiliac)The Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 5 is an appealing touch-screen 2-in-1. Its Core i3-1115G4 processor has only two cores, but it proved quite perky. It showed enough battery stamina to get through a full day of work or school.
Pros
- Comfortable keyboard and touchpad
- Sleek design
- Good battery life
Cons
- Lacks a stylus
