Lenovo ThinkPad L13 Yoga GEN 2 AMD is an entry-level 2-in-1 laptop in its premium ThinkPad sub-brand. It is powered by the latest AMD Ryzen 5000-series PRO mobile processors on the Zen 3 architecture. Otherwise, it is identical to the Intel-powered L13 Yoga GEN 2.
The L13 Yoga GEN 2 is built for businesses that appreciate durability, security, and portability. As always the case with Lenovo's Yoga laptops, this 2-in-1 convertible works with digitizer to make note-taking and drawings easy. In this case, the Lenovo Pen is integrated.
For business users, this rather thin 2-in-1 comes with a full-size HDMI port, which admittedly is becoming more common in this segment. It further supports a range of security features, including dTPM 2.0, match-on-chip fingerprint reader, and optional smart card reader. It does miss WWAN connectivity, for which one has to move up to X1 Yoga.
Despite its entry-level positioning, the L13 Yoga is tested against 12 military-grade requirements and more than 200 quality checks to ensure their robustness, like all other ThinkPad laptops.
At WMC 2021, Lenovo also introduced the clamshell version of the L13 GEN 2 powered by AMD.
