Samsung M5 27M50A is a 24-inch Smart Monitor that offers unconventional connectivity options such as WiFi and Bluetooth designed for use with PCs and smartphones. It joins the bigger 27- and 32-inch models as the new entry-level option.

The M5 24M50A shares all the features of these bigger models, though it unconventionally (for Samsung) uses an IPS panel. Like other Samsung Smart Monitors, the 24M50A has integrated speakers and operates with Samsung's Tizen operating system. It is capable of streaming video from sources such as Netflix and YouTube without being connected to a PC or a smartphone, though it differs from smart TVs in that a tuner is not included.

For those who wish for higher resolution, Samsung has already packaged these features in a more advanced series, the M7.
