7Artisans 50mm F1.05
Full-Frame LensProduct Gallery
Product Overview
7Artisans 50mm F1.05 is a full-frame manual-focus lens designed to work on several major full-frame mirrorless systems. Unlike most 7Artisans lens, it is a "mid-weight" lens, though its f/1.05 maximum aperture is one of the largest in the industry today, with the NIKKOR Noct as a rare example that is brighter.
Still, the 50mm F1.05 is built like other 7Artisans with an all-metal construction that inspires confidence. As it does not have electronics inside, this lens is also relatively compact. It is almost like an M-mount rangefinder lens designed natively for mirrorless.
For full-frame mirrorless shooters, 7Artisans also offers several other lenses, including the 35mm F1.4.

Cons
- Image may look a little soft at 100% on a computer at F1.05 but at F2.8 will show very good sharpness on 61Mpix
- Bokeh balls are very good wide open : well circular even when closed down. Unfortunately we can observe some fringing at the border as of F2
