Product Overview

The 2021 A7 is the first AMD-powered gaming laptop in Gigabyte's lineup. The mid-range 17.3-incher shares much of the feature set with the Intel-powered Gigabyte G7 refreshed just weeks earlier, though it is powered by one of the most powerful CPU on the market today, the Ryzen 9 5900HX.
Another advantage that the A7 enjoys is the NVIDIA RTX 3070 graphics with Max-Q that stands above the 3050 chips found on the Intel models.
On the display front, the A7 X1 features a FHD 17.3" IPS panel with 144Hz refresh rate. It also enjoys Nahimic 3D audio for gamers as well as single-zone RGB backlighting.
Last but not least, the A7's size allows Gigabyte to put not just two M.2 SSDs but also a 2.5" internal drive.
