Product Overview

Laowa 14mm f/4 FF RL Zero-D is an ultra-compact ultra-wide angle prime lens. Unlike the 12mm f/2.8 and 15mm f/2 in the Zero-D series, the 14mm f/4 FF RL prioritizes portability, weighing in at just over 200 grams—making it one of the lightest full-frame ultra-wide lens.
As the name Zero-D implies, the 14mm f/4 has ultra-low distortion across the frame, making correction in post unnecessary. The 114 degrees of angle of view allows the lens to produce pictures with a unique, ultra-wide perspective.
Another advantage of this lens is that ability to take screw-in filters, which is uncommon at this focal length for full frame. The lens' 5-bladed aperture makes it a great option for sun stars.
The Laowa 14mm f/4 FF RL Zero-D is available for all major camera mounts, including the Leica M-mount (which has a $100 premium).
Two other recent full-frame ultra-wide-angle lenses by Laowa are the 9mm f/5.6 and 11mm f/4.5.
