Product Overview

Laowa 65mm f/2.8 2X Ultra-Macro APO lens is a super macro lens for E-mount, X-mount, and EF-M-mount APS-C cameras. It is able to deliver a 2:1 maximum magnification ratio with a minimum focusing distance of just 17cm.
This feature allows the photographer to capture closeups that lesser macro lenses cannot. Moreover, this 65mm f/2.8 lens has an apochromatic design, which minimizes chromatic aberrations across the frame. This feature makes the lens more usable in scenes where there is strong contrast and enhances the micro contrast that it is able to deliver.
Still, this 2X Ultra-Macro APO lens remains compact and lightweight, measuring just over 300 grams, making it an enjoyable lens to carry around for days on end.
The 65mm f/2.8 2X Ultra-Macro APO is the first macro lens that Laowa introduced for non-full-frame cameras. It has since been joined by the 50mm f/2.8 2X Ultra-Macro APO lens for MFT.
