Product Overview

The 2021 MSI Creator 17 is a flagship 17.3-inch laptop engineered for content creators. Like its predecessor, the new Creator 17 boasts a gorgeous 4K Mini-LED IPS display with 100% DCI-P3 coverage and VESA DisplayHDR1000 support.
Over the 2020 model, the 2021 Creator 17 carries several key improvements: The headline change is the new NVIDIA RTX 30-series graphics that offers significantly performance bump over the RTX 20-series chips. This is joined with Thunderbolt 4, WiFi 6E, and PCIe Gen4 SSD made available with the new 11th-gen Intel processor.
For those who would like the power these components afford on the go, the new Creator 17 boasts a 99.9Wh battery, the largest allowed to be carried on a plane. MSI has also endowed the laptop with its latest Cooler Boost Trinity+ heat management system with 3 fans, 6 heat pipes, and ultra-thin, 0.1mm blades. The machine remains a hair above 20mm thin and weighs just under 2.5kg.
Like before, the Creator 17 has a full-size keyboard with 1.9mm key travel as well as a large touchpad that help boost productivity. With HDMI, Thunderbolt 4, and USB-C 3.2 Gen2 ports, it is able to power three external displays simultaneously.
Alongside the new Creator 17, MSI also unveiled Creator M16 and Creator Z16 powered by Tiger Lake processors.
