Dell UltraSharp U3821DW is a premium 38-inch 2300R-curved IPS monitor designed for productivity. Compared to the 40-inch U4021QW, it packs significantly less pixels, and its USB hub has a slight downgrade.
Essentially, the U3821DW packs the same horizontal resolution of a 4K monitor but offers reduced vertical resolution. All is packed in a 2300R curved form factor that makes it less stressful on the eyes and the neck to access.
Despite these compromises, this UltraSharp monitor features a 10-bit IPS panel that delivers 95% DCI-P3, 100% sRGB, and 100% Rec. 709 coverage.
For productivity, Dell has also endowed the U3821DW with a powerful USB-C hub that includes not only USB-A but also USB-C downstream ports, with charging available not only for the upstream but also for the downstream connections. Moreover, the U3821DW packs an RJ45 port, giving laptop users ethernet access via USB-C.
Naturally, the U3821DW comes with a stand that is tilt, swivel, and height adjustable. It also features ComfortView that makes long use sessions easy on the eye.
Last but not least, the UltraSharp U3821DW comes with dual 9W stereo speakers that more than suffice for office use.
