Product Overview

The 11th-gen Honda Civic is an update to the immensely popular compact sedan. Honda retains the no-nonsense design while improving the vehicle's efficiency, comfort, and safety features.
For the first time, the 2022 Civic features an all-digital LCD instrument display option for the Touring trim level. This is complemented by the new 10.2-inch color touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration. Other trim levels come with a standard 7-inch touchscreen with wired CarPlay and Android Auto support.
At launch, the 11th-gen Civic is available with two inline-4 engine options, a naturally aspirated 2.0L and a turbocharged 1.5L. Both are carried over from the previous generation, though the turbocharged unit has received a small bump in output.
Honda has made an effort to rearrange the vehicle's proportions such that, whilst still FWD, it has a higher dash-to-axle ratio that impresses as more premium. The new Civic's chassis and suspension are tuned for a more stiffer body and smoother ride and handling.
Naturally, we should expect more engine options and body styles to come along in the coming months.

Reviewer score 77%
Reviewers from autoexpress have found the following***:
This newest Civic is already on sale in the US, in four-door form. The new model in Europe is going all-hybrid – part of Honda’s drive to electrify its line-up by 2025. At 4,656mm our car is 138mm longer than the current five-door (and longer than an Alfa Giulia) with a wheelbase that has grown by nearly 40mm, too.

Pros
  • Comes with a CVT automatic gearbox
  • Comfortable to drive
Cons
  • More expensive than rivals

digitaltrends[2]

Reviewers from digitaltrends have found the following***:
The steering is precise, and the chassis effortlessly takes a set in corners. The turbocharged engine provides more than enough thrust, although it comes on in a less frenetic way than Honda's old naturally-aspirated four-cylinder engines. Honda Sensing includes adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, forward collision warning, lane keep assist, automatic high beams, and lane departure warning.

Pros
  • Gorgeous interior
  • Comfortable ride
  • Excellent infotainment system
Cons
