Canon RF400mm F2.8 L IS USM is the first professional super-telephoto lens for Canon's RF-mount system. Weighing just 6.37 lbs, it is significantly more compact than its EF-mount counterpart.
Naturally, the RF400mm F2.8 L comes with strong optical image stabilization rated up to 5.5 stops. It is also compactible with Canon's RF 1.4x and 2x extenders released last year.
Another feature that photographer will appreciate is the ability to have two focus presets that allows the user to switch between two focal points instantly.
Alongside the RF400mm F2.8, Canon also introduced the RF100mm F2.8 L Macro IS USM and the RF600mm F4 L IS USM.

Reviewer score 89%As an "RF" lens, the Canon RF 400 f/2.8L IS USM Lens is compatible with all Canon EOS R-series cameras. The EF lens can be mounted to a DSLR, while the RF lens cannot. Building a mount adapter into a lens does not noticeably change its image quality.
