Product Overview

LG B1 is a premium 4K OLED TV in LG's 2021 lineup. It offers much of the same features as does the C1, though the α9 Gen 4 AI processor in the higher-end model is switched out for a α7 Gen 4 AI unit.
As such, the B1 is virtually indistinguishable from the 2020 BX, with the upgrade in processing as the sole notable difference.
Like its predecessor, the B1 continues to sport LG's latest OLED display panel, aided with a full set of digital image and audio processing functionalities. Some such protocols include Dolby Vision IQ, Dolby Atmos, and Filmmaker Mode.
Now more than ever, LG is pushing for pushing its OLED TVs for productivity and gaming. The B1 not only supports G-Sync and FreeSync Premium from the get go but also drives at 120Hz native refresh rate.
The B1 joins the 4K A1, C1, and G1 and the 8K Z1 in LG's 2021 OLED TV lineup.

    rtings[1]

Reviewer score 73% (normalized by Neofiliac)
    Reviewers from rtings have found:
The LG B1 OLED is an excellent TV overall. It performs best for watching movies in dark rooms because it has a near-infinite contrast ratio with perfect blacks. It's also great for watching TV shows in a wide seating arrangement, but it doesn't get bright enough to combat glare. However, it risks permanent burn-in, which could be an issue if you constantly watch the same channel with static elements.
    Pros
    • Image remains accurate no matter where you sit
    • Near-infinite contrast ratio with perfect blacks
    • Wide viewing angles
    • Removes 24p judder from any source
    Cons
    • Doesn't get very bright
    • Can suffer from permanent burn-in
