Product Overview

JBL Live 660NC are mid-range over-ear wireless headphones equipped with ANC, which is supplemented with JBL's Ambient Aware feature. The large 40mm drivers and up to 50 hours of battery life make the Live 660NC a feature-rich option at its price point.
The Live 660NC sport a 750mAh battery that can be replenished with four hours of playtime in 10 minutes. They also support multi-point connection, allowing the Live 660NC to switch seamlessly between two connected devices. Naturally, the JBL Live 660NC can be used both wired via 3.5mm headphone jack or wirelessly via Bluetooth 5.0.
A model that the Live 660NC ostensibly replaces is the Live 650BTNC: the main difference is the longer battery life that the Live 660NC offers. At the moment of the launch of Live 660NC, the latter is on sale.

rtings[1]

Reviewer score 31% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from rtings have found:
The JBL Live 660NC are decent for neutral sound. They have a slightly bass-heavy sound profile with a touch of extra thump and punch. However, their passive soundstage doesn't feel very immersive, and they're somewhat prone to inconsistent audio delivery. Their integrated mic does an alright job of recording your voice, but it sounds a bit thin and slightly muffled.
Pros
  • Well-built design
  • Decently comfortable fit
  • Good battery life
  • Great noise isolation performance
Cons
  • Mediocre passive soundstage
  • No IP rating for water resistance

Reviewer score 78% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from tomsguide have found:
The JBL Live 660NC is an enticing deal for bass lovers who want adaptive noise cancellation in an appealing package. JBL's 40mm drivers maintain the brand's signature sound, feeding your ears punchy lows and solid midrange. Wireless performance is superb with Bluetooth 5.0 running the point. Despite the Live 600NC having almost every bell and whistle, not everything hits its mark.
Pros
  • Excellent battery life
  • Comfortable fit
  • Excellent noise cancellation
Cons
  • No wireless charging
  • Middling wind resistance
