Product Overview
Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 5G is an entry-level 5G smartphone. Despite their similar model names, the Redmi Note 10 5G differs from the Redmi Note 10 significantly.
Compared to other models of the Redmi Note 10-series, the Note 10 5G unique features MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset, as it is the only model with 5G support. However, this comes at a cost: It uses a 6.5-inch IPS FHD+ display with 90Hz refresh rate and 400nits brightness. It also loses 33W fast charging and supports only 18W wired charging. Last but not least, the Redmi Note 10 5G comes with fewer and lesser cameras.
Still, compared to the base Redmi Note 10, the 5G supports NFC. It also retains the 3.5mm headphone jack and IR blaster, like other Redmi Note models.

Reviewer score 53% (normalized by Neofiliac)Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 5G is an inexpensive and very attractive entry into the 5G universe for a current price of less than 200 Euros. Its equipment is pretty complete and includes a fast mid-range SoC, a strong battery, FM radio, an IR blaster, microSD support, and a notification LED. Only the lack of NFC and full-fledged dual SIM can be criticized. The cameras deserve some criticism, particularly in terms of its potential in the video test.
Pros
- IPS display with 90 Hz refresh rate
- Fast Wi-Fi
- Good battery life
- Fast SoC
Cons
- Mediocre camera performance
- No NFC
- No microSD card slot
techradar[3]
Reviewer score 63% (normalized by Neofiliac)The Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 5G runs on a MediaTek MT6833 Dimensity 700 5G chip. This is the exact same 7nm chip used by one of its closest rivals, the Realme 8 5G. It's not a particularly speedy processor by any means, and it's not helped here by a relatively meagre 4GB of RAM. But it's perfectly capable of running day-to-day applications reasonably well.
Pros
- Powerful 5G modem
- Good battery life
- Decent cameras
Cons
- Mediocre display
- No NFC
