Product Overview

Panasonic JZ1500 is a premium 4K OLED TV in the company's 2021 lineup. Sharing much of the same design and functional features with the JZ2000, the JZ1500 only differs in the range of surround processing protocols supported and a simpler built-in speaker setup.
As such, the JZ1500 is optimized for films and games alike. Powered by the same HCX Pro AI Processor found in the flagship JZ2000, the JZ1500 offers extremely low latency, which is boosted by variable refresh rate (VRR) support in the form of AMD FreeSync Premium. Its supposed weakness in audio processing is irrelevant when the AV system incorporates a separated sound system.
Panasonic promises that the JZ1500 uses the exact same Master HDR OLED Professional Edition panels found in its flagship, which is brighter and supports broader HDR latitude than the 2020 HZ1500.

Reviewers from whathifi have found the following***:
Panasonic JZ1500B is one of the best in the business when it comes to motion handling. Detail levels and definition are hugely impressive again, but there's no sense of artificial sharpening. Blade Runner 2049 is packed with extremely challenging moments, and the Jz1500B handles them almost as well as the Sony A80J and A90J.

Pros
  • Punchy, punchy and dynamic picture
  • Excellent motion handling
