On-Ear HeadphonesProduct Gallery
Product Overview
JBL TUNE 660NC are mid-range on-ear wireless headphones with active noise cancellation. Designed for the mainstream, the TUNE 660NC share much of the same design and the same drivers with the TUNE 510BT that came on the market at the same time.
Like the latter, JBL TUNE 660NC offer a bass-focused sound signature with long battery life in a foldable form factor. At their core is the 32mm dynamic driver engineered with JBL's Pure Bass sound that prioritizes the lower frequencies to suit the taste of modern listeners in casual listening scenarios.
The TUNE 660NC perform exceptionally in the battery life department, offering up to 44 hours of play time with ANC on and an additional 11 hours with ANC off. Via USB-C, fast charging is also available, extending the playback time by two hours in just five minutes.

rtings[1]
Reviewer score 24% (normalized by Neofiliac)The JBL Tune 660NC deliver sound quite consistently and have a slightly v-shaped sound profile. They have an ANC feature, but it does a poor job of isolating you from noise, especially bass-range sounds like rumbling bus and plane engines. Their soundstage doesn't seem very open or spacious either, which is typical for closed-back headphones.
Pros
- Compatible with PlayStation or Xbox consoles
- Easy-to-use controls on one earcup
- Supports multi-device pairing
- Comfortable fit
Cons
- Sub-par noise isolation performance
- No sound customization features
- Not very comfortable fit

Reviewer score 76% (normalized by Neofiliac)The JBL Tune 660NC use JBL Pure Bass tuning, claiming to punch out deep and powerful bass. Strong, rich audio with a heavy focus on the low-end is what you get from these headphones. The Active Noise Cancelling was even more impressive, even though these don't encase your whole ear. For a pair of affordable headphones, the audio quality could have fooled me as being from a much more pricey pair.
Pros
- Powerful bass
- Easy to use
- Comfortable to wear
Cons
- Noise cancelling isn’t for everyone
